Archive:Letter - RE:UNSC Ranking System

Dear Bungie,

I represent the interests of "Halopedia". In an article on Bungie, you featured us on your front page. While the folks here at Halo.Wikia.Com are doing a great job down here, we do occasionally run into problems.

One problem, that has plauged us for the longest time, are the ranks of the UNSC Marine Corps, and the UNSC Navy. Many members say that the ranks are exact or similiar to the real-life U.S. Navy and Marine Corps ranks. Other say that it could be other countries. Some even say that it could be their own unique ranking system for the U.N. And a few people say, that its not our place to say, and we shouldnt have an article on ranks at all.

So we got together, and wrote this letter to ask you, what is the official word on this? We ask you, great ones, to please tell us!
