The files are from CG Hub, actually - my copy of Awakening still hasn't arrived for some reason, and scans would have much lower quality. On another note, do I have your permisssion to revert the four files I mentioned in my earlier message?
By the way, how's the ONI logo going? Did the RGB file work at all? If that fails, I think you should just make the GIMP version transparent as a compromise. The vectoring's not perfectly smooth, but it'll do just fine.
Hey Xamikaze, I've just noticed that you've uploaded these new image versions (1, 2, 3, 4), citing that they're "larger, high-definition images." If you compare your version and mine, you can see that my versions are all less blurry and have more well-defined edges. This is because I try to only use source images or screencaps from high-quality sources (such as the HBO Cutscene Gallery and the Xbox Press Center). Please note that a higher-resolution monitor does not equal higher capture quality. This file is a good example; it's super high-res, sure, but the quality remains very low.
I've tried tinkering with the file, and this is the result: original (RGB), Photoshop and GIMP. The GIMP version seems to be the best compromise in quality terms - it's a bit blurry, but much less so than the Photoshop one. If you need the original file, here's the download link for the PDF.
Thanks for helping; I've noticed the discussion you've just had with Subtank on the talk page. However, the logo is official not misaligned. As the corner of the pyramid's black half merges into the surrounding circle while the white corner is well-defined, the Office of Naval Intelligence line appears to be right-aligned; it's an optical illusion. As for the image's source, please recheck the ONI logo's talk page. About the placeholder, the only issue I have with it is that the font size is too large; compare it to my image to see the difference.
Hey Xamikaze, I've noticed that the current ONI emblem has several errors, such as the font; could you use this official version to create a new black-and-white, transparent logo?

I read them, I think his dislike for humanity is linked to that the Precursors never intended for the Forerunners to inherit the Mantle.

Not sure. I suggest talking to Nicmavr since he is the bureaucrat that actively promotes a user to Patroller status. However, since there have been two recent promotions (Spartan331 and Braidenvl), I don't think there is an opening... but you can try have a word with him. :)
