Summary
One of the original group of Spartans, Fhajad suffered from complications relating to the enhancement surgeries the other SPARTANS underwent, and was delegated to a desk job with ONI. However, he eventually attained the rank of Lieutennant Commander and published a paper on slipstream physics that allowed UNSC personnel to detect an incoming coventant fleet to Sigma Octanus IV.
Note: On the title of the paper, Fhajad is referred to as "Fhajad-034". However, this is impossible because at this point on the book, SPARTAN-034 has been clearly defined as Samuel-034. Therefore we must assume that this is a typo on the account of the author. The number closest resembling the incorrect 3 is 8, so it has been widely accepted that Fhajad is in fact, Spartan-084.
