The Deep Space Research Array was a research facility orbiting the human Outer Colony planet of Arcadia that opened in 2498. It was established to research large space-based objects such as black holes, heavy gravity events, or objects where vessels could not normally go to.[1] Some individuals pointed out the irony that the Arcadians knew more about the galaxy than they did about the dense jungles of their own planet.[2] The facility was ultimately destroyed in 2531 by the Covenant during the Battle of Arcadia.[3]
