When you get out, your Plasma Pistol will still be shaking like it is overcharged, but there is no bolt on the end. This won't last forever. If you wield a Plasma Pistol, enter a Warthog passenger seat, charge the Plasma Pistol and exit the Warthog, the Plasma Pistol shakes, but if you shoot, [[melee]], or in any other way interrupt the Plasma Pistol, it will return to it's ordinary status.
