:Flight is pretty complicated, simply flapping doesn't cut it. It's rather unlikely that such a specialized mechanism would be there's suddenly on Earth when it was useless on their homeworld. Even on a heavier planet, though, it may be due to the atmosphere, as with a sufficiently thick one a winged creature could pull off a "swimming" akin to flight. OMG the entire article is speculation! What is if they dont fly on the home planet of them? Please remove the fanfiction part that they evolved on a moon.

Yes... but its all backed up by science and logic so its fairly acceptable, unlike a pointless and refutable, unsigned outburst such as that.

that amybe they evoled the flying characteristics as a biological solution to the heavy gravity, that maybe they dont fly but the physical attributes that allow them to fly in other environments is what makes their homeworld tolerable to them. ralok 18:42, March 10, 2010 (UTC)

You don't evolve wings to counter gravity. The pressure in the "Twilight Zone" of the Pacific ocean is so much that were you to be there, you would im - plode due to it.
