:It was at the first Halo - this we know from the graphic novel. It must have left the system before Cortana's scan began. "By the time I learned of the demon's intent there was nothing I could do." it could not have been at the first halo because it wasnt destroyed and if it is a flagship like asendent justice it would be the same size but in halo first strike cortana states that the master chief is flying to the largest ship in the system
