To avoid confusion, that specific symbol is a chevron. Stripe would be used to refer to chevrons and rockers at the same time. For example the [[Staff Sergeant]] rank in the UNSC Army has 3 chevrons and 1 rocker, or you could say that it has four stripes. (And yes I know I'm a little late. Just thought I'd say this in case anyone sees it.) [[User talk:Iceman117|Iceman117]] 05:05, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

Insignia[edit]

What's the Private symbol called (the gold angel that's also used for corporal and sarge). BPL 23:45, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

Chevron, or stripe.00:24, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

To avoid confusion, that specific symbol is a chevron. Stripe would be used to refer to chevrons and rockers at the same time. For example the Staff Sergeant rank in the UNSC Army has 3 chevrons and 1 rocker, or you could say that it has four stripes. (And yes I know I'm a little late.
