New Jerusalem

It's surprising they didn't pull an Encyclopedia and just take our version at face value. Would've made it easier for us if they did, though I suppose it's our fault - should've never assumed more than what was confirmed. I do recall some bit of ODST-related fiction stating that the Rookie's New Jerusalem deployment occurred immediately prior to the events of ODST, though this could simply be how we chose to interpret his profile's "This Marine was recently transferred from the 26th MEF, part of a Rapid Offensive Picket that suffered near-annihilation at New Jerusalem, Cygnus." - even though this doesn't actually say when the near-annihilation happened and how long the Rookie continued to serve in the 26th MEF since. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 09:40, 27 February 2015 (EST)

Not sure if this muddies the waters but in the Cygnus solar system, there are two colony worlds, Cygnus and New Jerusalem. The Rookie entry today made it seem like New Jerusalem is a place (city?) on the colony world Cygnus rather than on the planet New Jerusalem. I don't know, the Encyclopedia states that New Jerusalem is a planet. Contact Harvest also states that it is one of the two planets colonized in the Cygnus system, with the other being Cygnus. But you're right, the Waypoint article definitely makes it sound like a Cygnus location. - NightHammer (talk) 18:03, 27 February 2015 (EST)
