Halo: Evolutions.[edit]

Randall is mentioned in Pariah as having gotten into a fight with Soren, Spartan -66. Someone should add that to this article.

SPARTAN-037: Randall[edit]

why dont we list him as spartan-037

Randall - decommissioned?[edit]

Under his circumstances, would he be decommissioned? 'Cause, when he finds Soren, he is in civilian clothing, instead of military dress. Maybe he's injured? - Scot 113 01:44, April 7, 2010 (UTC)

I was also wondering why he would be on Reach circa 2527. The successfully augmented Spartans went to Chi Ceti in 2525, then Harvest. Randall was listed as MIA by 2532. I assume that Randall was active in 2532, in order to become mission in action. So why was he on Reach? I speculate that he was one of the 12 who were crippled by augmentation, and was returned to active duty sometime between 2527 and 2532. -TheLostJedi 20:32, 10 March 2012 (EST)
He very well could be one who was crippled and then rehabilatated. Although there could be other unknown reason's he was on Reach. Perhaps he was working for ONI at the time Partch and Soren-066 tried to steal the Longsword.--Spartacus TalkContribs
Or he was off duty, and wandered across them by accident. Even Spartans need some time to themselves, and I doubt ONI would just let them walk around New Alexandria - for one thing, they'd draw attention, and for another, they'd need to be trained how to fraternise without giving away anything classified - that's if they're even interested in fraternising with other people, which I doubt. -- Specops306 Autocrat Qur'a 'Morhek 05:58, 11 March 2012 (EDT)
SPARTAN-IIs keep themselves to themselves, as shown with Oly Oly Oxen Free - their either unwilling or incapable of forming relationships (in general, though specifically friendships; at least the usual take on it) with people outside of the project. Again, shown with Oly Oly Oxen Free, they don't want others knowing about their quirks and the knowledge of it to non-SPARTANs is very limited, perhaps due to some sort of trust-issue - Halsey, who was a mother figure to the SPARTANs is one of the few aware of it. In conclusion, they're not gonna fraternise - when John killed those ODSTs, he had been working out in the gym on his own; he didn't take advantage of his free time to go to the mess hall. Adriana tried on the Rubble and caused a bar fight by acting weird in front of the other patrons. I'd say that their isolation from social interaction as essentially made them comparable to some forms of the higher-functioning part of the Autistic spectrum. They even localize their abilities into a specific aspect, allowing them to perform the combined work of a team of normal marines - Grace would work on her own in preparing a variety of explosive agents without support, while Fhajad seems to have given his life a sense of purpose by publishing papers on slipspace physics and navigation.-- Forerunner 10:33, 11 March 2012 (EDT)
