So, this is in Halo: Reach huh? I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt but there's no source given confirming the M6B in Reach while this picture confirms the M6G in Reach. And if you check in the vidoc, the pistol appears to be a little to small for the SPARTAN's hands, lending credit to it being the M6B--the 6B was not one of the oversized variants.
