flagship/assault carrier confusion

""Assault Carriers" can serve as the flagships of large Covenant fleets, and carry the greatest firepower." Straight from the assault carrier article's mouth. "It is not to be confused with the Covenant Assault Carrier, whose keel length is over two-thirds greater than the flagship." Straight from this article's mouth. Yes, I realize that article says they CAN serve, but they don't necessarily ALWAYS serve as a flagship, so I think that the latter phrase should be revised to show that an Assault Carrier can still be a flagship, but AFAWCT they're different ships.

FlagShip isn't a class of Ship

• As for flagships, I am beginning to support the theory that flagships are merely ships in charge of fleets or battlegroups. My reason can be found on page 37 of Halo: First Strike. " 'Picking up encrypted transmissions from new contact,' Cortana whispered. 'Descrambling...lots of chatter...orders being given to the cruisers. It appears to be directing the Covenant fleet operations in the system.' 'A flahship,' the Chief murmured." John-117 associates commanding fleet operations with flagship, he does not seem to associate the ship with flagship until Cortana says it is directing fleet operations.--Rot 20:43 9.12.06
