==Overview==
Jiralhanae chosen warriors command lower warrior squads. They typically wear augmented gold armor that bear markings which befit their new status. They also get first choice of weapons from the armories, and as such, many utilize non-standard weapons, including those of [[Forerunner]] and [[UNSC]] design. Despite their elevated status, chosen warriors lead the same contentious, embattled lives as lower-ranking warriors and fiercely compete with each other for the favor of their leaders.{{Ref/Reuse|EN}}

Multiple chosen warriors participated in the [[Battle for Zeta Halo|battle for]] [[Zeta Halo]]. One commanded the [[flame-bore]]'s crew at [[Site Novem]].{{Ref/Level|Id=Excavation Site|HI|[[Excavation Site]]}}

==Gameplay==
Chosen warriors wear golden [[Jiralhanae power armor|power armor]] enhanced with personal [[Energy shielding|energy shields]]. They typically use [[Sentinel beam]]s, although some wield the [[M41 SPNKR|M41 rocket launcher]] and carry [[Mangler]]s as sidearms. Like standard warriors, chosen warriors carry [[Type-2 spike grenade|spike grenades]].

Chosen warriors are more durable than all variants of standard Jiralhanae warriors and their Sentinel beams can quickly strip away the player's shields. Rocket launcher-wielding chosen warriors are even more dangerous, as 
they can kill the player with one or two direct hits. As with other Jiralhanae enemies in the game, chosen warriors' helmets can be shot off, rendering them vulnerable to a precision headshot. Typically, a single direct hit from a rocket launcher will kill a chosen warrior at full health and shields on any difficulty.

==Notes==
*If struck by an upgraded [[grappleshot]], chosen warriors will not be electrocuted. They will instead assume a defensive posture and freeze themselves in place for several seconds (essentially the same effect).
