In Amber Clad is twelfth track in Halo 2: Original Soundtrack, Volume 1.
In Amber Clad is a piece composed by Martin O'Donnell in the Halo 2 Original Soundtrack.

Overview
The piece begins with a violin section until, at around 0:14, when other instruments join in. Then, at about 0:29, a drum sets in with an electric guitar, which plays the melody from the Lost Muse (a piece of music in Halo: Combat Evolved which was missing from Halo: Original Soundtrack). This continues on until approximately 1:23, except the guitar continues on and finishes the piece.

The piece is a spiritual sequel to Under Cover of Night from Halo: Original Soundtrack, featuring similar instruments and melody for its strings part.
It is featured in the Halo 2 campaign gameplay during the level Delta Halo in the chapter "Off The Rock, Through The Bush, Nothing But Jackal".

Appearances
The song starts off with a violin section until, at around 0:14, when much of the band begins to mix in. Then, at about 0:29, a drum sets in with a guitar. This continues on until approximately 1:23, except the guitar continues on and finishes the piece.
A percussion-only version plays in the Halo 2 campaign level Delta Halo, when John-117 commandeers a M12 Warthog after clearing the landing zone. The full version of the track plays later in the level during the chapter "Off The Rock, Through The Bush, Nothing But Jackal".
This song has a similar melody to Under Cover of Night.

Arrangements
It's also been noted that this song bears some similarities to Roll Call, Follow Our Brothers and Farthest Outpost from the Halo 3 Original Soundtrack. These are partial remakes, since they only resemble small sections of the original song.
It is arranged into the following:
*The percussion in Underestimated (from To Kill a Demon) and Farthest Outpost in Halo 3: Original Soundtrack.
*The bass line of Duty Bound from Roll Call in Halo 3: Original Soundtrack.
*Trapped In Amber of Halo 2: Anniversary Original Soundtrack.
