==History==
It was in contact with the [[Covenant]] battlecruiser ''[[Sacred Promise]]'' and its fate was recorded on the black box of that ship.  
During an unknown battle around an unidentified planet, the ''Commitment and Patience'' was requested by the ''[[Sacred Promise]]'' to provide it with [[Space fighter|fighter]] support. However a "projectile" hit ''Commitment and Patience'', and ruptured a fuel cell, instantly vaporizing the whole ship. An impact from the resulting explosion caused the ''Sacred Promise'' to lose its drive control, and descend into one of the planet's moons.{{Ref/Reuse|CftU}}

The ''Sacred Promise'' requested fighter support from the ''Commitment and Patience''. However a projectile hit the vessel and ruptured a fuel cell, instantly vaporizing the ''Sacred Promise''. It is unknown what the two vessels were engaging, but it is possibly a [[UNSC]] vessel with its [[Magnetic Accelerator Cannon]] that destroyed the ship.
