EMP Effects

This article claims that Pulse Grenades disables vehicles, however, I have tested this and found it to be untrue. It might be worth looking into by other contributors.

You forgot to sign your name. Perhaps just add a gameplay section that says it doesn't do that. Canonically it would not gameplay wise, wouldn't. Erickyboo (talk) 17:18, 12 May 2013 (EDT)
Err I'm not sure if it quite works that way since the source for the fact is a Bulletin mostly describing the gameplay. I always end up forgetting if little things about these weapons or abilities were removed before the game's release or after during a title update.Sith-venator Wavingstrider Fett helmet.jpg (Commlink) 23:56, 12 May 2013 (EDT)

Splinter Grenade?

Been noticing Ready Up Live and various people on the Waypoint Forums saying the grenade is now called the "Splinter Grenade" in Halo 5, but I can't find any official source or video where it specifically calls it that. I assume people are just confusing it with the new Splinter Turret?--Crisperstorm (talk) 23:10, 26 September 2015 (EDT)

I haven't seen or heard anything official but the "splinter grenade" name has popped up a few times on the Archive and Waypoint. Gameplay-wise it has nothing in common with the Halo 4 version apart from its appearance and disintegration properties, though we know from Halo 4's ending that the Z-040 has multiple detonation modes. I'll see if I can dig anything up. --Our answer is at hand. Gravemind.svg (Talk to me.) 23:15, 26 September 2015 (EDT)
The different detonation modes would make sense but I have to say my biggest irk with the Halo 5 forerunner weapons is the big changes in firing mechanics but they all look exactly the same. x_x --Crisperstorm (talk) 23:29, 26 September 2015 (EDT)
I think that's a testament to forerunner adaptability and changability of weaponry, but I hope we know if it's the same Z-040 except simply splinter grenade functionality in halo 5. Erickyboo (talk) 23:41, 26 September 2015 (EDT)
