Covenant?

From the Coversations from the Universe, it seems more like a human ship, because wouldn't it say something like Ship Master insted of Captain, cycles or somethings insted of seconds or minutes, the Covenant does not abandon thier ship much while a human crew would, and the wording seems human not Covenant. So wouldn't this be a human ship and not a covenant?
