It may have been in the Halo 3 or Halo Reach weapon profiles. I do vaguely remember it being mentioned on one of them. Now that Bungie doesn't hold the Halo property, I imagine the original source doesn't exist anymore. -- Qura 'Morhek The Autocrat of Morheka 21:25, 8 November 2012 (EST)
