I think the quote was referring to the Halo universe in general. This post says that Major Nelson's 343rd podcast says the date is November 2010, not June. Can someone with more time check on it and find the timestamp? (Edit: Maybe November is the paperback date?) --Andrew Nagy 01:17, January 11, 2010 (UTC)
