The Roll of Celibates is a collection of San 'Shyuum who are not permitted to breed under Covenant law due to genetic failings that have grown common in the San 'Shyuum community. While celibate, the members are not sterilized and may engage in sexual activity provided that any resulting offspring are subsequently aborted.[1]
However, breaking such an oath of Celibacy will result in the sterilisation of the being. Fortitude mentioned that even a Hierarch had no right in stopping the sterilisation of those breaking an oath.
Notable Celibates
- Prophet of Truth, former Minister of Fortitude.
- Prophet of Restraint, former Hierarch.
