Lee began writing in the role playing game industry in 1996 while attending the University of Georgia. After graduating with a bachelors in English and Management Information System, he moved to New York City where he worked in advertising for a time before moving on to DC Comics. In 2004 he left DC Comics to pursue a full time writing career, working on projects such as the Vs. Trading Card Game by Upper Deck, the Ennie-nominated role playing game Dawning Star, and numerous licensed comic books.
