Battle Rifle ammo glitch

The Battle Rifle Ammo Glitch happens both on Xbox Live games and on local games (happens more often on Xbox Live), usually in Halo 3. If you're firing a BR burst, and do another quick action (except reloading), there's a chance another bullet or more will appear or be used up. E.g.:

If you're firing BR bursts until 24 bullets are left and quickly throw a grenade, you may end up with 23 or 25 bullets soon thereafter. The cause of this may be due to Online Lag. This Glitch can be seen on many Youtube videos where BR shots take place, if you do not own Xbox Live. If you melee just when you are shooting the BR shots, you will have a chance that you fire only 1-2 bullets.
