Elite Personal Energy Shield

Summary
The Elite's armor generates a recharging energy shield much like that of the MJOLNIR Mark V and MJOLNIR Mark VI armor. This shield recharges after being depleted and can be enhanced by the Covenant's overshield technology. These shields are a better, more efficient version of the Jackal's energy shields. The Elites personal energy shield was infact the precursor to the MJOLNIR version, and is less sophisticated. There appears to be differences in the strength of the shields, and different ranks of Elites have different amounts of power and recharge capacity in their shield.
These shields have weaknesses however, as they are seceptable to explosions from both the Needler and Plasma Grenades. I full magazine from a Needler, if fired properly, will bring down the shields of almost any Elite.
