These give you an advantage over the other players. They can be picked up at spawn points around multiplayer or found in Campaign. You activate them by walking into them and ,unlike Equipment activate instantly and cannot be held for later use.

Name of power up	Effect	Games Found In
Overshield	takes more hits (shots) to kill you	All Halo games on multiplayer all levels in Halo: Combat Evolved except for Halo (Level)
Active Camouflage	makes you nearly invisible	All Halo Games on multiplayer all levels in Halo: Combat Evolved from Truth and Reconciliation (Level) to 343 Guilty Spark (level)
