Moonlight Sonata will be formally released on March 25, 2008[1]. In a recent Bungie Weekly Update, it was announced that Moonlight Sonata will be replacing Purple Reign. This does not however, mean that the map Purple Reign has been scrapped, only that it will appear in a later set. Moonlight Sonata will likely be available for download on Xbox Live Marketplace in the Legendary Map Pack available April 15, 2008.

It is not known if this is the same or a different map from Moonbase Alpha, both of which have "Moon" in their names.
