In one of the newspaper clippings from Halsey's journal -- dated 2550 -- Jacob Keyes is referred to as "Captain Keyes" (and it can be inferred that he's been a captain for a while). This is, of course, two years before he was promoted to Captain in ''Fall of Reach''. Error or Retcon?
