I'm not happy with the name as it is, but until we have a proper name for the craft we only have two letters and two numbers. The Wasp was based on another Fan Made Vehicle also called the Wasp that featured in Several Halo Custom Edition Maps. Differences being the size and lack of a cockpit. {{unsigned|65.129.216.101}}

:Found this [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBev2BFFdTM cringeworthy video] on YouTube that seems to be the other "Wasp". But looks nothing like the AV-49. If anything the AV-49 seems to be based more off the [http://www.halopedia.org/images/4/45/Kestrel_-_deletemat_%28textured%29.jpg old H2 Kestrel].
