Since Eric Nylund uses the American version, we should probably go with that unless Bungie disputes the fact. *shrug* --User:Chickenman

I agree; however, Frankie still hasn't answered my PM (concerning this subject), and it's been like...two months. I don't know how to properly ask Bungie. I am going to leave the FactOrFiction template because...I'm lazy I suppose.--RotBrandon 06:49, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

I think it would be best to remove the FactOrFiction templates from ranks not yet mentioned (unless other facts are disputed of course), and instead have as a bold text warning at the top of the page (as I have included on this page). Yes, while it hasn't been mentioned specifically, Eric Nylund did state that he used the American rank structure as the basis for UNSC rank structure in his books and Bungie has not yet disputed this.
