Overkill Strategies
Yess, overkill is the only one holding me back from 1000/1000. Ive had countless triple kills, but overkill is eluding me... Ive always gotten closest in the lone wolves match type "swords," so that is probably your best bet. That, or oddball, if you can get a bubble shield.
Now that the zombie playlist is over, does anyone have any suggestions for easily getting this achievement or setting up achievement matches? I only need overkill and spartan officer to get 1000/1000 gamerscore for Halo 3. --Minster01 17:42, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
- I always hear how people have a rough time getting this one; personally I had no problem. I was able to knock off Triple Kill and Overkill in the same game. It was a Oddball match, and they other people just kept coming. I got help with the laser one and got killing frenzy during slayer on Epitaph with a gravity hammer and a lot of luck. --Minster01 19:51, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
I finally got overkill. I was playing swords on guardian when I stuck someone for a triple kill, then slashed the next guy in sight. It took a few seconds to realize what I just did.--Minster01 15:43, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
