There is another passageway containing two Elites. They will engage the Flood, which are currently out of sight. Wait it out. This time, the Flood will win. Use the lowered, darkened passageway to flank the Flood, but be careful: one of them has a Rocket Launcher. If not, then you will aggro it when you turn the next corner.

The next room contains Flood as well, although not as many. But they have better weapons, so don't get cocky. Be careful—the level's geometry tends to gather [[pod infector]]s into groups large enough to tear through your shields and kill you, even at full health.

Return to the bridge. This time, there are two Banshees—unload your Pistol into them. Wait out the fight on the bridge, then kill the remaining faction. Some of the Flood had Rocket Launchers—pick them up, kill enemies, then drop them. There is no point in keeping them.
