Transorbital balloon

Transorbital balloons were vehicles used by the Forerunners to transport supplies from orbit onto the surface of a world. They were dropped from orbiting starships and inflated upon entering the atmosphere to decelerate and land. Such devices were used to provide supplies to the inhabitants of Seaward, a secret private resort moon.
