Hmm, the Halo 3 pistol has Korean hanjul on it. Does anyone know if they mean the same thing as the kanji? -The Dark Lord Azathoth 11:30, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

*Merge I'd say this is definitely a sub-set of the main pistol entry.

Because it's not just kanji, it seems appropriate to change the name of the article. I'm not sure what would be a good title, though. "East Asian characters on pistol" isn't good at all. --<b><font color="#800080">Dragon<font color="#DE397E">c</font>laws</font>(<font color="#6600D8">talk</font>)</b> 05:07, 12 September 2012 (EDT)
:How about "7 on Pistol"? All of the characters printed on the pistols mean "7" anyways. —<span style="color:silver;">S331</span> (COM • Mission Log • Profile) 09:42, 12 September 2012 (EDT)
::Well, there's 力 for "strength". --<b><font color="#800080">Dragon<font color="#DE397E">c</font>laws</font><sup>(<font color="#6600D8">talk</font>)</sup></b> 17:26, 12 September 2012 (EDT)
This article remains inaccurate over three years since I last posted. "East Asian character egg"? Is there a better linguistic term than "character" to succinctly describe the writing of three East Asian cultures? --<b><font color="#800080">Dragon<font color="#DE397E">c</font>laws</font>(<font color="#6600D8">talk</font>)</b> 03:18, 21 April 2016 (EDT)
I suggest "CJK character Easter eggs" as a new title, based on Wikipedia:CJK characters. Does anyone have any objections? --<b><font color="#800080">Dragon<font color="#DE397E">c</font>laws</font>(<font color="#6600D8">talk</font>)</b> 16:13, 13 February 2017 (EST)
