==Effective Range==
so i am not a 100% on how to use sources but i popped my copy of halo reach in and made a shooting range in forge. I could hit fusion coils at 150 yards 5 shots 5 hits, i could hit targets out to about 300 but the accuracy was trash. around 200 meters i was able to land 3 out of 5 but the round would go wide. I had fusion coils every 25 meters so i don't know in between incriminates.
Don't bother. Unless you're gonna be adding this to the gameplay section, all of the games' weapons can not be used reliably for canon, especially accuracy. If you ARE gonna be adding this to the gameplay section, then simply use this format ''<<nowiki>ref>[http://www.yourvideohere.com/ Assault Rifle Ranges]</ref></nowiki>''. Also, please don't forget to sign your comments. ==Standard Issue?==
The article says that it is the standard rifle in all UNSC branches, but the MA5C also says that, so are they both in use at the same time by the same branches, or is this the Army rifle, and the MA5C the Marine rifle? [[User:Bioniclepluslotr|'''Bioniclepluslotr''']] 18:02, 9 August 2011 (EDT)
:Just a holdover from when it was amalgamated into the MA5C article. The MA37 is a variant of the MA5 series of course, with the Mk.IV noted as a model developed alongside the MA5C. Feel free to remove it if you'd like. [[User:Grizzlei|CommanderTony]]
::If you look at it closely while in forge, it says on the side that the MA37 is a variant of the MA5C.--[[User talk:Sierra 109|Sierra 109]] 11:31, 31 May 2012 (EDT)
That's likely an error, similiar to how the M6G in ''Halo: Reach'' says M6B on it, or how the BR85HB-SR said BR55HB-SR on it in previous builds of ''Halo 4''. The MA37 predates the MA5C by roughly a century, since it's been stated that the MA5C started entering service during the mid to late HCW, plus the fact that every branch besides the Army labels it the MA5 would suggest that this is the base model of the MA5 series, rather than a stripped down version of a later MA5 iteration. The MA37 was standard issue for UNSC Army forces at least until the UNSC's adoption of the MA5D. The Air Force likely used it as their stand issue rifle until the adoption of the MA5C. The Navy and Marine Corps used it as their standard issue service rifle throughout most of the 25th century, before phasing it out in favor of the MA5B some time prior to the events of ''Contact Harvest''. :I think the detail on the weapon is not an error; it is trying to indicate that it is the fourth iteration (or "mark") of MA37 for the Army, which would be considered as the MA5C for the Marines. Oh, do note that the error on the BR85 has been fixed if you check the latest renders closely. The question thus remains: if it is an error, why hasn't it been fixed throughout the three-year development? — [[User:Subtank|subtank]] 13:52, 8 June 2012 (EDT)
Well, the DMR dispenses the wrong round casing when it fires. Not EVERY single minor error gets connected. --[[User:AlphaBenson|AlphaBenson]] ([[User talk:AlphaBenson|talk]]) 18:29, 28 February 2013 (EST)

I redid my edits that were taken down because I used "I" in them. If anyone wants to make sure I got it right this time it's in the multiplayer section. This is [[User:CraZboy557|'''craZboy557''']], signing off. 09:24, 25 January 2013 (EST)
==New Trivia?==
I don't know if anyone ever saw ads for a game called "Zombies Ate My Pizza", but the ads showcase some very distinctive weapons seen only in ''Halo: Reach'', including the MA37 assault rifle, the M392 DMR, and other weapons belonging to other franchises. Has anyone ever noticed this? --'''''[[User:Xamikaze330|Xamikaze330]]''''' ['''''[[User talk:Xamikaze330|Transmission]]'''''|'''''[[Special:Contributions/Xamikaze330|Commencing]]'''''] 11:08, 6 June 2014 (EDT)Xamikaze330
