Judging from the view of the rounds in the magazine, they look more like cased projectiles than rockets. That could mean this is actually a [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recoilless_rifle recoilless rifle]. Though it does say "Rocket Launcher" in-game, a lot of video games use "rocket launcher" as a catch-all for any similar type of weapon. The projectiles also act more like rockets than recoilless rifle shells, but again, this is something a lot of video games do with regards to simplification/uniformity. We'll just have to wait and see I suppose.
