Remove cleanup tag?[edit]

I changed the content of this article rather extensively. While I have removed other tags, such a stub tags, before and not waited for confirmation, I am unsure of the procedure or parameters for marking an article as cleaned (I'm new to this). Any help? -- Nutarama 05:13, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for helping out... I actually had to revert quite a bit of it, though -- but don't worry, I've seen worse mistakes by members that have been here for a while, and besides, since it's a wiki, mistakes can easily be adjusted. Anyway, I'm not too sure of the de-Cleanup procedure either... I just enter an article, clean it as best as I can, and then wait for someone else to mark it as fixed...
So I guess here's some guides for things, to help you get used to the writing style here.
  • Trivia sections are normal and encouraged when possible.
  • Formal names should be used. E.x. in the Arbiter's article, he is referred to by his name Thel 'Vadamee, rather than by his title, the Arbiter. Similarly, Hellbringer is more accurate than Flamethrower.
  • Generally, the introductory section of an article (the part before any sections) should be one (or perhaps two, or if absolutely necessary, three) paragraph(s), but in the rare cases that a single detailed sentence fits, that's fine too.
  • Links. Links. Lots of links. The first mention of any particular thing in an article should be a link. Weapon name, species name, even subspecies (e.x. Flood Combat Form). However, anything after the first mention should stay as plain text.
So... Yeah. Hope that helps, and welcome to Halopedia. File:DavidJCobb_Emblem.png|16px]] DavidJCobb  00:17, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
How irrelevant does trivia need to be to be viable for deletion? (how tall a certain flood form is) -- Nutarama 00:26, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
On this wiki? Very. Thankfully, though, any trivia that's poorly written, stupidly obvious, or downright inaccurate can be removed immediately, usually without any problem. File:DavidJCobb_Emblem.png|16px]] DavidJCobb  00:47, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
