One thing has been bothering me. Why are this battle, and the [[Battle of the Apex]] treated as  separate battles? Even the name of this article says it all. The whole battle, including the Apex, takes place inside the Flood-Controlled Shield World, and there's no considerable stop in the action that'd somehow separate these. For someone uneducated in this matter, this article gives a misleading impression that the battle somehow left the flood-controlled shield world, even though this is obviously not the case.

In my opinion, the Battle of The Apex -if such page is even needed- should just include the part that actually has something to do with the Apex, from HW level [[Beachhead (Halo Wars level)|Beachhead]] to the start of [[Escape (Halo Wars level)|Escape]]. Everything else should be detailed in this article, including the escape from the shield world and its destruction, with a brief description of the battle of the apex.--[[User talk:Jugus|Jugus]] 08:20, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

==Distance==

Assuming that the Covenant Destroyer was moving at the standard 38 lightyears per hour of Covenant slipspace drives, and the fact that it took fourteen days to reach the shield world, that's a distance from Arcadia of 12768 lightyears. Since Arcadia itself, in the Procyon system, is approximately 11.41 lightyears from Earth, that gives a minimum distance from Sol of 12756.59 lightyears, and a maximum distance of 12779.41 lightyears - 12% of the total width of the galaxy! :I wouldn't be so sure about the 38 LY/hour being the standard speed of Covenant ships. Sure, the ''Bloodied Spirit'' was that fast but I'd like to dismiss that as "traveling at the speed of plot", as such speed is almost ridiculous. It is canon, sure, but it may still be an exception among Covenant ships. For instance, i don't recall the ''Ascendant Justice'' being that fast even with the Forerunner Crystal speeding it up. Also, "currents" within slipspace can make the speeds unpredictable.--[[User talk:Jugus|Jugus]] 09:22, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
