This is an ongoing research project of mine.

Now these Elites aren't Spec Ops or Fleet security, wrong colours.

However, i've been asking around for somebody to go about hex decoding to try and draw some light on this.

I believe they are the new Special Operations Elites, which can't really have "wrong colors", since they have many colors, and have changed in every game. The purplish color in those shots are misleading, when I took them I aimed to get shots in lighting that makes the purple stand out more(you'll notice even the plasma rifle looks like a light purple), in most lightings they appear much more blue. I will agree to a truce in the Spec Ops article (until the coding or some bungie announcement or whatever) if you put the Halo 2 special ops elite picture back up, I refuse to accept that minor as a Spec Ops Elite. --Justin Time 01:08, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
