The Glow was the name given by the Forerunners to a mysterious realm outside of conventional space, composed solely of photons. According to the IsoDidact the Forerunners had explored this realm before 97,445 BCE.[1] The Ur-Didact was able to analyze the Glow to calculate relevant data in normal space around Charum Hakkor.[2]
The Librarian referred "the great Glow" as reference point as a stopping point for life in the galaxy.[3]
