Blue Six was a unit (possibly a platoon[Note 1]) of the UNSC Marine Corps deployed to Harvest during the 2526-2531 Harvest campaign. The unit consisted of six M12 Warthogs and their crews, two of the Warthogs with no weaponry and four sporting M41 Vulcans.[1]
History[edit]
During the Harvest campaign Blue Six were deployed alongside Blue Five to investigate the last-known position of a patrol which had lost contact with the UNSC. After leaping over a rise during the night, two Marines from the outfit radioed in to the UNSC Spirit of Fire to confirm they were joining with Blue Five, a larger unit consisting of five M808B Scorpion tanks. Both units then headed towards the last known position of a recon force with whom communications were severed. The recon patrol was then able to radio back to Blue Six, explaining they were under attack. A member of Blue Six then listened over the radio as last member of the Recon patrol was killed by a Sangheili with an energy sword.[1]
This scouting mission led to a large clash between both the UNSC and Covenant, including the deployment of a firebase by D20 Heron and Team Omega, consisting of numerous SPARTAN-IIs.[1]

Notes[edit]
- ^ a b The Halo Encyclopedia (2022 edition) p.56-57 describe a Marine Corps vehicle platoon as consisting of 2-4 vehicle sections. In the modern day, a USMC light armored reconnaissance section consists of two light vehicles. As such, it is likely that Blue-Six is a UNSC Marine Corps light armoured reconnaissance platoon consisting of 2-3 sections of 2-3 Warthogs each.
