RelentlessRecusant

Dear Rotaretilbo,

Hello! It is RelentlessRecusant. I am being considered for promotion to administrator here on Halopedia by the Wikia staff. Please consider me at this forum.

I am requesting administratorship solely to aid in Halopedia's vandal fighting efforts. There have been many times where vandals have struck, and I am unable to ban them, and can only revert their malicious vandalism manually by hand and drop a line requesting our current esteemed administrators to help.

If you have any questions regarding me, what I pledge to do if promoted, or anything, as always, please contact me at my talk page.

Thank you.

Cheers,

Thank you!

Dear Rotaretilbo,

Many thanks for supporting me at my nomination for administratorship.

I can understand if you have concerns concerning an abuse of administrative powers. I too understand both sides of the issue. However, please allow me to reassure you of any doubts you may have.

This isn't a joking matter. You don't see me giggling at this, any smily faces, why?

I know what quote from Spiderman - "With great power comes great responsibility.". Of course, with great power comes great responsibility, and summarily, great deliberation upon any exercising of my administrative powers and furthermore, great trepidation as well for the unseen ramifications. This goes unsaid. Furthermore, I am a bureaucrat on the Halo Fan Fiction wiki and an administrator of the Gears of War Wiki, all places where I have exhibited great self-control with my power.

Furthermore, I also have prominent Wikia members G.He and Jack Phoenix supporting me.

Thanks for your support and interest in my billet. =D

Cheers,

Glass Houses

Hahahaha Funny how you're all of a sudden quiet about users going over people's heads. Hypocrite? Those in glass houses... -- Esemono 01:09, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

You see, my problem had little to do with people going over other's head.s I thad to do with your double standard, which lead me to believe you had a personal bias in the matter. When RR went to the Wiki Admins about you, you said it "You going to Wikia admins before even talking about it is ... well frankly its like running off to your Mommy", but then when people go over RR's head to you, suddenly you are "forced to act", as you put it in the CoH Elections thread in the forums. That is a double standard. And if you'll note my edits to RR's take on things, they clearly express my thoughts. "Rotaretilbo dislikes double standards, and when one person is told that running to the admin without discussing the problem with others is like running to your mommy, then others should be told similarly. He is also suspicious of the fact that this forum existed prior to the change in the group policies that required elections. He is perfectly fine with elections, but only if the proper proceedures are followed in order to file a complaint about the leadership rather than having an admin strongarm the group with new rules." I could care less about the elections. My anger was derived from a double standard and the fact that the rule had been created for (read after) the occasion (which I see as strongarming). Had the rule been there, or you turned the complainers away and they gone out and voiced their problems, I would have had no problems with an election. None. Before you go calling people hypocrits, do your homework, and perhaps take a glance in a mirror.

God I'm not going to explain this again. I repeated why I was forced to take action many times, what do I have to do draw a picture? -- Esemono 06:58, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

P.E.N.I.S.

You were talking earlier about how one of your buddies vandalizes Halopedia is that P.E.N.I.S.? You're the one who goes to junior high school in Gilbert , Arizona right? -- Esemono 07:00, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

Awards

retarded rapist?

Dear Rotaretilbo,

It goes like this - terrorist and counterterrorist. You think the terrorist calls a counterterrorist "retarded rapist"? =D

P.E.N.I.S.

No idea if it is or not, but I do go to high school in Arizona. One of the kids in my English class jumps from Wiki to Wiki vandalizing when we're in the computer lab, so I can only assume if he does so at home as well or not.

  • OK so you might know that vandal then -- Esemono 02:15, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Esemono, could I get the IP that you banned him on for Halo Fanon? Just email it to me or something. brebuga4@gmail.com
--Master Gunnery Sergeant Hank J Wimbleton IVCOM 04:15, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
I can't see the IP or I would give it to you -- Esemono 02:15, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Glass Houses

You explained many times? I only remember you avoiding my questions about a double standard and saying that it had to be "legitimate" and that you were "forced to take action" because of some emails you got from people. You have yet to explain to me your double standard. You just avoid the sections where I ask or try and turn me into some sort of bad guy and then stop posting under those headers and move to the next one. So perhaps you could clear this all up by explaining to me why RR is "crying to his Mommy" for skipping over people but other people have Halopedia policy changed just for them.

--Master Gunnery Sergeant Hank J Wimbleton IVCOM 14:35, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
I've explained over and over, I had no problem with Donut's little Theocracy as long as there was an independent UoH. I was willing to let the emails slide but after the UoH surrendered I was forced to take action. It wasn't out of the blue I discussed it with admins before the UoH takeover was announced and as again as I've explained over and over I didn't update the rules until the surrender was announced. If the UoH stayed independent I wasn't going to change the rules, I was going to allow Donut to have his Theocracy. This has nothing to do with screwing over or "strong-arming" Rot and RR. I would have done the same to anyone. It's not like I'm asking him to do something I haven't done before. I made the UoH, I made the FanArt Committee, as well as countless other articles and projects, do I have any kind of permanent rule? No. As for the email complaints I feel the same about RR crying to his mommy as these little whinny kids emailing me about their problems. But as an admin I have a responsibility to do something just like the Global Wikia admins have a responsibility to listen to RR when he goes above Halopedia Admin's heads. -- Esemono 08:28, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Question =D

Dear Rotaretilbo,

This is Red Death. You seem to know a lot about World War II and Germany and stuff, so I have a question.

I have to do a project at school on a country and a famous person from the country. I chose Germany, and was wondering if you could give me a good place to find info, or give me info yourself, on Erwin Rommel. He's pretty high in the Hierarchy Structure, so I thought you'd know some about him.

If you can't, it's fine. I also might not be on very long today, so if I don't reply like to thank you, that's why.

Mr. WOZ File:Halo2emblem-14.ashx.jpg $ 21:25, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

It would be great if you could find his death day, important events in his life, and how he died. Also, I know he led the Nazi Africa campaign, any important or interesting events you know about that would be helpful.

Thanks so much for helping. =D

O... M... G...

I now understand why you think Rommel is so awesome. He RAWKS! Thanks for all the info, dude. That's awesome stuff... more than I needed even. =D

You rock. Can I put your friend userbox on my page? =D

Also, you knew all that off the top of your head? =D

I'm getting off soon so reply quick, please.
