	I think some ancent humans survived with technology intact because the novel left behind sneaking evidence and it,s near the galactic rim and there some evidence of human activity near segues arm they where the force fighting the covenant hitting run on them and it,s fair home space they hit run tactics on them. The reason they did interfer directly did not lead them to there halos and not to cause panic among unsc humans
