This unidentified Covenant Bomb is an explosive device used by Covenant forces.
Multiplayer
In certain Invasion multiplayer gametypes, an assault phase is included where Sangheili players must detonate a bomb (in a similar fashion as ordinary assault gametypes)to enter a vault. The bomb in this case is of Covenant design, and produces a massive plasma explosion capable of shattering blast doors.
