The Beginning

The Halo Wiki was founded by AgentSeethroo on November 4, 2004. Template:Plainlink is our very first edit. In August 2005, the Halo Wiki was renamed to Halopedia.

Server Problems and Wikia

In mid-2006, Halopedia was often down. The site administrators had trouble managing the spike in hosting costs, and the wiki was eventually moved to Wikia.

Today

In July 2010, Halopedia was re-launched separate from Wikia when the administrators were comfortable that hosting was no longer an issue. The site skin was overhauled for the re-launch.
