You don't give Humanity very much credit. They have had extensive access to Forerunner artifacts since 2531 on Arcadia. Also, Halsey had access to that Forerunner complex on Reach for like a year. Noble team spent what seemed like an hour as she dowloaded all of her data. You're right when you say it was probably already a different class, but they did have lots of time to create the enchancements.
