Wren was a Captain in the UNSC Navy during the Human-Covenant War. A subordinate of Vice Admiral Preston Cole, Wren suggested the use of the heavily damaged UNSC Io as a "fire ship" prior to the Battle of Psi Serpentis in 2543.[1]
