Statue of Liberty?[edit]

That's what it looks like - the Statue of Liberty, in NY. Does anyone else see it? Kora ‘Morhekee The Battle-Net My Conquests. 03:06, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

Same. Nothing.--UoH|UNSCoH]] General "Running Riot" Ryan BAM 23:07, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

Seriously. Stop your overactive imaginations, people and delete this picture.

Okay. I took another look at it, and it looks like the Flood Juggernaut. The part people think is a face is the sensory tentacles protruding, supported by the fact that it flashes up when it says "and the adversary succeeds." It's showing us who the adversary is, by using the Juggernaut. Cool that it didnt make it into Halo 3, except in Iris. Kora ‘Morhek The Battle-Net My Conquests. 07:57, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Nope, sorry, I think you're wrong there. It's a holo-gram, with a Forerunner on the left one and a Flood on the right. We see the head and shoulders of the Forerunner and the sensory stalk of the Flood. --User:Lordofmonsterisland

What I think it looks like most is a Prophet. Darth Bassan94 23:29, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

Pareidolia[edit]

This is absurd.

Try looking at the image without the yellow outlining. Try to think of what is seen throughout the video, in this image and in others.

What is there?

Scenes of Earthly plants, landscapes, and water. Looking at this picture shows quite clearly the leaves of some plant with the stalks in the foreground being from some other plant.

The "forerunner" is actually a break in the leaves with light coming through. The notion of there being a figure there is quite silly.

Also, since the Forerunner are meant to be human beings, the apparition on the left does not look like a human being at all.

If it were a Flood-infected Human/Forerunner, then why is it not a clear image of a Human/Forerunner Combat form and other Flood inside a structure or striding across a planet's surface?

If it is meant to be video footage of a Forerunner and the Flood, it is a poorly done image. There is no anatomical similarity at all to a Human being with the thing in the picture, not to mention the Flood.

There clearly is not a "Juggernaut", Pure Form, or even the mutated, head-bent-back form of Human Combat Form in the image. Its just a combination of tricks of light in a moderately blurry image of plants and wishful thinking.

There is is a process in which a person thinks that they see a human face or figure in an unknown setting when there really isn't one.

Its called Pareidolia-the process in which a person sees a man in the moon, figures in clouds, and the imaginary Face on Mars.
