The Battle Rifle Ammo Glitch happens on both Xbox Live games and on non-xbox live games(Happens more often on Xbox Live), usually in Halo 3, where if you're firing a BR burst, and do another quick action(except reloading), there's a chance another bullet or more will appear or be used up, so e.g.:
