Legate?
They used the Covenant names in Infinite Succor, what's to say Legate isn't the Covenant name for Prophet?
- Perhaps, but "Legate" is still an English title rather than something like "Unggoy." Perhaps "Prophet" only applies to the higher ranks, and "Minister" is used by the Minor Prophets? --Dragonclaws 05:25, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
- I'd think either is possible. Notice how the Graphic Novel is carefully worded; the word "Prophet" is never used, rather the Minister is referred to as "The Legate on board the ship" multiple times, suggesting that Legate is a title. I also could speculate that "Prophet of..." could refer to the religous leaders whereas "Legate" or "Minister" could refer to a more military role for a Prophet. The Legate appears to be a ship commander, not a religous leader, like the High Prophets. -ED 02:59, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
Legate didn't die
Legate never did die as there is a picture on the same exact page showing him leaving with the covenant spec ops team.Halo3 19:57, 15 January 2007 (UTC)--Halo3
