:While I agree that a list of challenges that is available *now* would be much more relevant and useful, I did not treat the section as a simple "list of current challenges", but as an archive of challenges. I would be more than happy to change the section to a "list of current challenges" if you archive the challenges to show that is your approach. Please feel free to revert my edit, but please move the outdated challenges to [[Challenges/Halo Infinite/Archive]]. Revert of weekly challenges update from Winter Contingency III[edit]

JackVibe, why was my edit to weekly challenges reverted? I understand that my edit was drastic, but so was the change to challenges in this update. The new weekly challenges are not temporary or event-specific, but seemingly permanent according to the press release.

The reason for the revision was: "Please do not remove archived content without a reason". The weekly challenges section is not an archive of historical challenges, it is a list of current challenges. To leave the old challenges in place is to give inaccurate information. While I agree that a list of challenges that is available *now* would be much more relevant and useful, I did not treat the section as a simple "list of current challenges", but as an archive of challenges. With Halo Infinite being a live service game, aspects of the game are constantly changing: the challenges, the extent of rewards, the weapon balance, etc. It is just as important to record/archive as it is important to present how the game plays currently. Without a clear explanation in your edit summary and without archiving the outdated information in the archive subpage (linked at the top of the very section), as far as I was aware, it appeared to be an intentional erasure of information from wiki, which is a common form of wiki vandalism. I would be more than happy to change the section to a "list of current challenges" if you archive the challenges to show that is your approach. Please feel free to revert my edit, but please move the outdated challenges to Challenges/Halo Infinite/Archive. Thanks! JackVibe 16:09, December 25, 2023 (EST)
