I've also seen in that trailer a sort of personalised bubble shield. The player uses it to deflect a Ghost that was boosting at him. I dunno if the Ghost exploded afterwards because of it, or because of some outside force (eg: explosive)

The quote that Lars Bakken gave in his interview with Waypoint about the drop shield; "Think of it as a proto-bubble shield" would go nicely above the drop shield section. Permission to add it? --<span style="font-family: Apple Symbols;"><span style="color:lightgrey; font-size: 60%;">Turn</span> </span><span style="color:darkgrey; font-size: 60%;">out</span> <span style="color:grey; font-size: 60%;">the</span> <span style="color:black; font-size: 95%;">Lights,</span> 07:13, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

Considering that several armor abilities will be returning in Halo 4, such as the Hologram and Jetpack, I think that either a new section should be added for the upcoming and updated abilities, or that available information should be grafted into the existing sections as seperate paragraphs. --Delta1138 SnooPING AS usual I see 17:12, 24 May 2012 (EDT)

:Separate them by game. It's much more organized and easier to find the info you're looking for. <font style="papyrus"><font color="lime">Bioniclepluslotr</font></font> 02:27, 10 July 2012 (EDT)
Template
Since we've got a template for the equipments in Halo 3, should we get a template for the armor abilities? == Better presentation? ==
I've been thinking of improving the presentation of armor abilities using a table design currently used in MJOLNIR Mk VI. I got a design up and ready but am withholding it to see if I should implement it. Anyone object to this?— <span style="font-size:14px; font-family:Arial;"><span style="color:#FF4F00;">subtank</span></span>  02:58, 15 February 2013 (EST)
:Can we see a test of that table in this section, perhaps? <span style="color:#6600cc;">Tuckerscreator</span>(<font color="#008000">stalk</font>) 03:25, 15 February 2013 (EST)

The Sprint ability allows the player to move at an increased speed for approximately four seconds. In campaign, it is the default armor ability. Its pickup color is green. When activated, the player's character model will pant heavily. The sprinting scales with the player's movement speed; the faster the player moves, the faster the player sprints.
Canonically, the "Sprint" function operates by bypassing the safety limiters of the MJOLNIR actuators and "muscles", allowing better performance at the expense of heat regulation, overheating the user if used for prolonged periods. This "hack" was developed by Catherine-B320.

Speaking of which, can anyone confirm the S-12 Jetpack (Halo 4 jetpack) is the same one as the portable jump jet (Halo: Reach jetpack)? This page on Waypoint says, "The S-12 Jump-Jet Pack is, like the systems which came before it, a gravity mitigation device latched to the back of infantry BDU, allowing personnel to traverse vertically challenging terrain and generally be more mobile in the battlefield. The S-12 series was designed with SPARTAN-IV assets in mind, though it can be used more broadly." —<span style="font-family: Eurostile;"><span style="color:#000;">SPARTAN</span><span style="color:#888;">331</span></span> 22:27, 15 February 2013 (EST)
